Hi, Ah, the style guide refers to this as 'ineffective page break', that is, the checklists supplied on pages 160-164 talk about checking your document formatting for 'effective' page and line breaks. In general, we rely on the tools to handle this, but it is a readability issue as you reported. Good catch--I will fix in the next revision.
