First post of n... Page 223: "bundled" mentions usage in external documents. This could possibly be rephrased, since all OpenSolaris docs will be "external".
Page 224: check box description has a typo (I suspect). Should "none" be "one"? I think I may have already mentioned this item... Rainer searches the crumbs in his brain for a trail... Page 229: C shell is out of order. Although many indexes would place this after degrees Celcius, for consistency in this document, it should be placed before "currently", I suspect. (I think there are two standards for "alphabetical order" in computer documents; some use a space as being before "a", while some consider the letter after the space as definitive, with the space being ignored.) Page 228: There are, I would argue, legitimate uses of -enabled. For example: "Sun SPOTs are JAVA-enabled devices that can be used to..." In this type of context, the alternatives don't really work. I've suggested adding "your/you're" before. Due to the potential non-native English speakers in the community, I think adding "a lot" would be another good idea. Too many people use "alot", to the point where non-native speakers may be unsure of the correct spelling. Of course, we are hoping for authors to also write non-English documents, but the item could still be valid for non-native (English) translators. That takes me through "F", actually.
