In this sentence:

The Apache HTTP Server ("httpd") was launched in 1995, has been the most 
popular web server on the Internet since April 1996, and celebrates its 20th 
birthday as a project this February.


.. the final part after the comma should probably be its own sentence. Also, 
"this February" is somewhat vague. I'd recommend including the year at least.

Here: "This version is our GA release of the new generation", I'd suggest 
putting (General Availability) after the GA perhaps.

Otherwise I think it's a big improvement.
