DP and/or anyone else.

Long story short engine expired at 60K had rebuilt, 2K later the oil pump
broke. Engine builder repaired the pump. Since then when I lifted off the
gas and then back on it puffed smoke. Please give me your thoughts on the
cause of that. Last week engine started missing and then the Check Engine
light flashed. Check codes, number 2 cylinder misfire. Checked plug,
looked real bad, ran compression test on number 2. Had none. Pulled head,
part of exhaust valve missing. Now the real question All of the other
plugs looked good. Do I need to pull the pistion for number 2 to check for
broken rings, or any other thought on the reason why I was puffing smoke.

Thanks for your help

Coy
