Well so far were 2 for 2 with the advice ive gotten from you all...
heres #3....
About 3 weeks ago the 96 ES started acting up again.. heres what
happened.. was running perfect since the ignition switch replacement
then one day she started up and had a strange sound to the engine
along with a strong shake when idle... when driving the noise was
still there along with the shake.. some loss of power was noted. when
i got it home I noted a sulpher smell around the car and a smell
thats like a burning plastic bag coming from under the hood. Note.
The digital climate control panel was messed up and the heater has
been running for the last 2 years (removed fuse during summer).
I took her our tonight for a run around the block and its all still
the same but when adding washer fluid i noticed that the radiator fan
was turning on and off really fast it come on for 2 seconds then
cut off for like 3 seconds this is when the engine is cold just after
starting... I have heard a few things it might be.. as in a
clogged cat conv, heater core, needs new plugs.... But i would like
to see what you all think it could be...
