I'm wondering if you are grounding out one of your
plugs. This has happened to me twice, mostly cause I
wash the engine bay and didn't seal the the spark plug
holes creating moisture in the valvecover plug
cylinders. But anyways when this would happen to me I
would drive along then all the sudden I would feel a
lose of power and the engine would shake more. But if
you're only having this at idle I'm not sure this is
your problem. With mine the shake would get worse as
the rpms of the engine rose.
But if you feel this is similar to your problem then
what I do is just start pulling spark plug wires while
the car is running. If the sound and shake of the car
gets worse, then you know that plug was working fine.
If it doesn't get worse then you "may" be looking bad
plug wire. Inspect them and look for burn holes in
the boot that covers the spark plug. It will be tiny
pin sized hole but should have brown charing around
it.
Not sure if this is your problem. But if it is this
should help.
