Imagine my surprise when I placed a CD in my player and nothing happened! 98 ES (140,000+ miles) Infinity Stereo
I placed a CD in and it took it in normally, but didn't play. I then noticed the "CD" light didn't come on. So I hit the eject button and you can hear the motor whirring to eject and the radio turns off....nada...no CD. I turn if off and try eject again, nada. I shut the car off and try..nada. I pull the owners manual out, nothing shown on CD removal. Most home CD/DVD players have a hole for a paper clip to push the tray open, but this is a "rim drive" player which sucks it in and spits it out on a roller.
