The plastic bezel surrounding the stereo, hvac and shelf is removable,
held in by spring clips. Gently pry around the perimeter using a
small screwdriver, concentrating the force near spots that seem more
firmly held down than others. You may have to put the gear selector
in neutral or drive to have enough room to do this; make sure the
emergency brake is applied.

Once the bezel is removed, remove the two screws securing the radio
into the dash. Gently pull out the radio, and you will find that
there are four connections in back: two plugs with release clips, the
antenna, and a ground wire that's secured with a 10MM screw. Remove
all of these, and extract the radio. The plugs are keyed so they can
only be reinserted in the correct spot.

On the sides of the radio faceplate there are a total of four screws.
Remove these and set aside. Gently pry the faceplate on the top and
bottom and it will separate from the rest of the radio. At this
point, you will have access to the CD. You might need to wrap the
ends of a pair of tweezers in electrical tape or similar (to prevent
scratching) to extract the disk.

Reassembly is simple, and just the reverse of disassembly. I suggest
that you reconnect the radio and then test it while it is not mounted
in the dash to see if the problem recurrs with another CD. If so, at
least you already have it removed so the disk can be extracted and the
radio can be replaced.

Good luck.
