Thanks to all for the feedback. I checked www.dodgeintrepid.net and
some suggested getting a felt tipped tweezer or needle plier in there
and pulling the CD up and force the eject mechanism. In this case I
don't think that will work.

Removing the head unit was not on my most favored action list but
since I need to get the A/C charged once more, perhaps I can do it all
at once.

BTW: This was not a burned CD or one with a label on it. It was one of
those Time/Life music compilations. While I would like to blame the CD
for possibly being out of spec, as those T/L cd's seems to give me
errors every so often, clearly the age of the deck is an issue here as
well.
