This is great that YOUR shop will do the job right,
and you hire competent people. These are the places
you need to go to get it done. Trouble is identifying
these places. To warranty work from these people is
like pulling teeth! Especially when there are
intermittent issues. And you WILL find dealerships
that will produce shoddy work also. Best Buy, Circuit
City installers are supposively MECP certified and
they would be the LAST to touch my car.
Its like going to Perkins and getting a crappy meal.
Does that make all Perkins restaurants bad? No. Its
dependent on who's working there.
Don't tell me that certifications = smarts. I just
saw a diesel certified technician fail to time an
engine after getting it all re-assembled resulting in
a brand new $1000 head getting trashed. Trust me, this
guy is an idiot, but with all his certifications and
stuff, he sure looked good on paper!
