I was told this by a man who has always owned Mopars...nothing but...he swears every other maker sucks....this man lives and breathes DODGE IS GREAT...... and the only reason I am driving a Dodge. I was 43 when I bought this car 3 years ago and I never owned a dodge in my life.....none excited me enough in looks to want one till I seen the Intrepid.
He has a Dodge Dakota truck and a just bough a new Neon after several used ones. He loves Dodge and for him to say that was a shock. BUT.... The warp.... the last time I had my tires rotated they told me that by just moving the rotors around they noticed a high spot on both rotors...that was MILES ago and I done nothing about it. Then lst week when I had my tires rotated by someone else.....I asked them to check the brakes also because I noticed the shake coming back.....they said the same thing about the bake rotors.... how ever y ou can tell they need turned I don't know but he told me the front needed turned. I just replaced all 4 rotors...and I did indeed pick the most expensive ones that Advance had to offer for that car, and ceramic pads. On the 12,000 mile thing...I had to hurry and get her in as it was hitting that mark and that is where my brake coverage ended.....they replaced the rotors on the front then. Maybe it is my driving and I am doing this to the car....I don't know. That is what I am trying to find out. thanks for your intensive description of all this brake stuff. \ Now there was some rotors that my son had me look at that had slots..... he said I would be better off with those?????? what is your take???? I may have bought them???? I have to go check my receipt and see what I did get now. But she is almost at 50,000 and I just pulled up last night with 4 new tires and she got the all new brakes this week end... so she should feel pretty good!!!!
