Try the $15 brake pads, rotors, and see how long they
last and if you enjoy the massive amounts of brake
dust they produce.  Plus its scary to go 90 mph down
the freeway on a 95+ degree day and push the brake
pedal and see what happens.  Just hope the guy in
front of you has the same cheap pads.  I don't know
how some of these products out there can get DOT
approval!

For lots of people, the cheap ones will be fine.  I
drive 100 miles round trip to work in all sorts of
driving conditions.  To make a car reliable enough to
do this on a daily basis, quality parts are a
necessity.  However, if you go 10 miles a day and do
not rack up the miles, the cheap ones are likely your
best bet.
