The O.P. would do well to consider that if his engine is > 100K miles as it stands, he might not have .010" of extra meat on his cylinder bores he can afford to lose. But running your car a few times without a therm will > not hurt it. You might not have good heat in the > cabin, but it's a free test. ...and it's worth what you're paying for it.
