Calipurs should not rock back and forth, you're going
to lose braking distance and eventually damage
something in your braking system. I know my 95
dosen't rock(granted I've never seen if they have any
movement on the road). But if the bolts holding the
calipers are lose have them tighten them up. If they
are tight then verify they are the right bolts or that
there isn't any damage to the bolts holes already(they
look out of round or eliptical).

You know what else it might be now that I think about
it, have them check your brake pads to make sure they
are set in there correctly. If they aren't seated
properly I could see them rocking around and making
noises like that. Did the noise start happening after
some brake work? If it did then not seating a brake
pad, or forgetting to put that little metal peice back
in the top of your caliper, or something like that
would be a real easy mistake to make and I could see a
shifty dealer not owning up to it. If it didn't
happen after some brake work then I would look for a
fracture or some sort of defect in the pad, rotor,
caliper, of backing plate. Don't forget to give your
rotors a good inspection a fracture or possibly
grooved rotor could make some nasty sounds.

Best of luck.
