I have a 2000 Intrepid with a 2.7 liter, purchased new.
Currently just under 35,000 miles and it looks and runs
like new. The mpg's are satisfactory as long as I don't
run it hard.
I give it lots of TLC and garage it everyday.
I've been extremely pleased with it except for the power
door locks. Three have failed on me so I disabled the
auto lock feature.
I believe the Chrysler 300 has a 2.7L as a standard engine.

I've had two 3.3L engine Chrysler Concordes and am looking to upgrade to
something newer. I see allot of the 2.7 litre engine Intrepids and Concorde
LX's but I'm real hesitant to go with an engine that small. I'd be
interested in the opinions of some of the members who have them. Evidently,
they don't make the 3.3 anymore so it's either the 2.7 or a 3.5 in an
Intrepid SXT or Concorde LXi.
