Do-able, yes. By a novice? You decide:

Remove headlamps (2 long torx t-25 bolts through upper radiator support) and
allow to dangle

Mark position of and remove
o hood latch (2 bolts)
o upper radiator support crossmember (about 8 bolts)

Drain coolant using radiator petcock
Remove upper radiator hose
Remove four cooling fan assembly attaching bolts
Remove cooling fan assembly connector
Remove cooling fan assembly

Loosen serpentine belt tensioner pulley on driver's side of front of engine:
o Loosen bolt thru center of pulley
o Loosen jackscrew tension adjuster

Remove serpentine belt

Remove pulley that needs replacement (remove the bolt through the center of
the pulley)

Replace new pulley
Reinstall serpentine belt (recommend new serpentine belt)
Retension serpentine belt (needs to be pretty tight)
Tighten bolts through pulley centers

Install new radiator cooling fan assembly
Reconnect electrical connector
Reinstall upper radiator hose (recommend new upper and lower hoses)

Reinstall upper radiator support crossmember
Reinstall hood latch
Reinstall headlamps

Install new coolant/water 50:50 mix (recommend ONLY using G-05 mixture, not
multi-grade one-size-fits-all blends):
o Fill coolant reservoir
o Loosen coolant bleeder valve on top of engine intake near upper radiator
hose and attach 6' of 1/4" clear plastic tubing, run other end down into
bucket
o Continue filling coolant reservoir until no significant air bubbles are
observed coming out of plastic tubing (may have to use vacuum suction to
pull the air out)
o Tighten bleeder valve
o Run engine until warm. Observe fans to ensure they kick on. Stop engine
and allow to cool at least 30 minutes.

Check:
o Serpentine belt tension
o Coolant level
o Hood alignment (adjustable with hood latch)
