I agree with Paul must be a faulty sensor if your oil levels are correct. I have a 2.7 Intrepid and have owned it since new. I have always maintained it very well and have used full sythetic oil the last 50,000 miles - it now has about 80,000 miles. I have never had a problem with this engine. It still runs nice and smooth and I have even towed 2500lbs of loaded trailer over 2000 miles with it. PBraido
