Pammie,
The oil light indicates that oil pressure is low.  Usually, at 60,000 miles,
oil pressure is not truly low, the sensor is defective.  The best approach
would be to have a mechanic at a local garage measure the true oil pressure
with a mechanical gauge, and verify it is okay.  If so, the sensor is not a
terribly expensive part, and sometimes can be a cause of leaks.
