I'm not sure size is so important when we compare Intrepid to Taurus, or Intrepid to Impala, etc. People don't buy one because it's 2 inches longer.
You are mistaken, though, in your comparison of engines. You say the Intrepid's 2.7 isn't in the same league, but you're wrong. It has 200 HP, while the GM 3.8 has 205. Does a mere 5 horsepower put the LeSabre in a different league? Of course not! They are considered comparable, though I suspect the 3.8 has somewhat more torque. For that matter, even GM's 3.4 is a SMALLER engine that Chrysler's 2.7 as it has only 180 HP vs 200 for the 2.7 Cubic displacement might give my neighbor bragging rights, but horsepower always wins. Don't be misled. The 2.7 is very powerful For the last word on Chrysler products, always visit allpar.com Craig Web: <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dodge_intrepid> Subscribe: <mailto://[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Unsubscribe: <mailto://[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Moderator: <mailto://[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Yahoo!
