Well, the point has become moot. Driving home at 3 am last Saturday I was pulled over by the police just because of my expired sticker (the local Tim Hortons must have been out of donuts!). Now I have to use my limited money to fix a problem that to me has nothing to do if the car is road worthy or not. I know cars that far worse (in my eye) saftey problems (no speedometer, broken windows, duct tape body parts!) and they are on the road. As for the intake manifold gaskets are leaking, and allowing air... answer to my problem? You might be right. My reapir shop did have a theory that it was either the gasket or that the heads warp. Both not easy to discover ot fix. BTW on 1996 and later LH cars the "disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes to clear all codes" don't work. One of the codes return is for a disconnect battery. The only way to clear the codes on the latter LH's is to use a code reader. Anyway, thanks for the imput. ------------------------------------ Web: <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dodge_intrepid> Subscribe: <mailto://[email protected]> Unsubscribe: <mailto://[email protected]> Moderator: <mailto://[email protected]>Yahoo!
