Yes you have it right. John V is looking into it but don't know how we will go with the 2 years bit. If we apply the logic that the engine under the GFA should be considered no more reliable than a tow rope we would have a chance but really aren't there yet with the sport aviation code changes ( I have forgoten the number "part XXX") so don't know how he will go there. Attached is the Slick Bulletin John sent to me which he has pasted into a word doc. The Slick mag 4320 has been superseded by the model 4330 which is what you now have since you changed mags. Manu of the old unit is still in use in OZ but it makes no difference. The Bulletin applies to both. Cheers. Nige.

Shoot the messenger?....Too late Neville, the boys are already on an Air New Zealand flight.. Have I got this right? GFA AD 343 says 500hours with an out of date slick bulletin... Latest Slick bulletin says 250 hours.... Hoffman service manual update says 250 hours... Limbach service bulletin says 250 hours or 2 years... I don't mind the 250 hours but the 2 years is way over the top. Rob ... Hi Guys. My apologies if I have opened up a 'can of worms' with the Slick maintenance requirements. Please don't shoot the messenger. Neville.
