G'day,
I have the plans, I think it is a complete set, if not there is definitely
sufficient to do the job.
They definitely were Barry's so if he is ok for you to use them then go for it.
The last bloke who looked at them before building his own enlarged design was
Bob Meikenhof.
Now I am retired have spare time available to help if you wish. When would you
like me to come out there.
Les and I have been waiting for a decent flying day but keep missing out.
I will ring you and discuss.
Bob.

  Hi Bob,
You may not be very pretty but geez you are a good bloke. I'd spoken with
Barry Bowerman yesterday and he looked high and low for his own plans and
couldnt find them so yours will be perfect. I'd like to get them as soon as
possible so let me know when I can meet up with you. Yep we'd thought about
Barry's and his glider being sold less the T hangar would work out well but
that may be 12-18 months yet and we thought we really need to get our aircraft
out of the weather.

  Hi Laurie,
I have a set of plans given to me when we were looking at building a T-Hangar
for the scout Glider.
  Your Welcome to have them.
Not sure if there is any copyright involved as I think they came from Barry
Bowerman's design.

PS. Barry has his glider and Hangar up for sale. Maybe some one will buy the
Glider and not want the hangar.

When would you like to have the plans.
  Bob.

    Hi All,
As you may recall in a recent email from Rob Thompson, our Dimona is
currently tied down at Camden awaiting a home. We have received permission to
build a T hangar and will commence as soon as we can.

Does anyone know where we might get our hands on some T hangar plans to
save a bit of leg work? Any design improvement ideas that you may have come
across would also be welcome. eg One T hangar at Camden has a roller installed
via a relatively simple modification rather than the standard swing up door.

    Hi Laurie,

There does not appear to be a specific regulation on tip colour. However
the colour is there to make the propeller disc visible from the front. By all
means try the blue, but if it does not produce sufficient contrast to make the
disc visible I suggest you stay with the red on white or yellow on black.
Incidentally I recall Hercules props with grey blades and narrow red, white
& blue stripes on the tips; each colour band was about an inch wide. I think
TAA might have used this colour scheme on Friendships & Viscounts etc too.

Subject: [DOG mailing list] Prop tip colours

    Hi All
Just been touching up a few minor spots in the paint finish on GYT. Tips
were resprayed in blue as previously.

The Hoffmann prop tips are the standard red. I tossed around the thought of
blue prop tips to match the wing tips and one comment was that red and yellow
are the only permitted colours for prop tips. I havent heard this before.
Anyone know any more?

Hey Nige, we've bandied around the idea previously of a organising a Dimona
fly in sometime. Maybe at Arkaroola or Broken Hill as fairly central locations.
Any more thoughts?

914 HK36 - do not know his name but he has to learn to fly I gather and
from Mt Beauty. Erich Witstock flew him down in it

spoke to LAME at Lismore and he was surprised about the 250hrs - He said
all I do is obey the maker (slick) and their service bulletins and they say
500hrs!!! He did say when engine is run on condition and engine and mag has
done 2500hrs+ it can start to show.

Notice the Swiss falke mag service (all exchange over to reserviced one)
had 500hr service so it seems like the swiss ignore the Germans- Wonder what
they do in France - I am sure it will not be same as Germans
