Have you actually analyzed the Received: lines on the stale messages to 
see precisely where the message was stuck?  Feel free to post them here 
and I will annotate them.  The first two (reading from the bottom) are 
likely to be the only servers internal to Tucows, but the whole chain 
can include interesting tidbits for those who can read them (and sadly, 
I can read them in my sleep)... ;-)
