Sorry - a very very bad idea!
Please keep the mailing lists. I don't wanna have to search for
messages active, I like to get in my Inbox!
Don't you know how time consuming is a forum?
I don't wanna have a forum, I wanna get the messsages by email!
All reasons to switch to a forum are "no" reasons, because my email
client can do everything of the reasons better.
Please don't close the mailing lists!

forums and we'd really like to hear what you think (including
letting us know about any bugs or usability issues you might
notice). Registration takes just a minute. I recommend you head over
and sign up right away, since we'll be discontinuing the mailing
lists as of December 1, 2008.
P.S. I'll apologize in advance if you receive multiple copies of
this message. It is being sent to each individual mailing list and
you will receive it more than once if you subscribe to multiple
lists. The good news is that this is precisely the sort of issue we
won't have with the new forums!
