Well here goes! I think us gals have it harder to even present our
qualifications cuz the name is already a step back for us!! But I don't mind!
RESUME FOR DOOBIE BROTHERS' ON STAGE MOBILE MUSICIAN:
Name: Karen Longman (I always say on the phone, 'Opposite of
shortwoman') which usually makes people laugh and puts them at ease)
Position: Mobile Musician, roaming the stage in wheelchair that looks
like motorcycle to encourage audience to clap to the music, enjoy Doobs and
sing to the music
Requirements: a great sense of fun, a great appreciation for the Doobies
and a wheelchair that can be creatively decorated as a Harley.
Experience: Many hours of satisfying listening to Doobie Brothers tapes
and CD as well as attending as many concerts as can drive and afford.
Choreographing instep dance and arm movements to Doobie music at concerts and
a great sense of fun in or out of wheelchair.
References: husband and son, friends and FC members like Sheri Dawn and
Dubster who I was with at last Vegas FC weekend in about 1997.
Please advise by e-mail the date and location of interview and what other
perks there are other than to enjoy the hell out of youself in a
semi-rational way at all Doobie Brothers conerts (or totally radical in the
privacy of your own home!).
Addendum: What other positions are available for a gal with my specific
qualifications?
