I have found most rubber materials don't cut worth a darn on a laser. At least
with the power available in the small home lasers. Rubbers tend to melt and
burn when they are cut. Most shops that do custom gaskets that are not stamped
use water jet. Nitrile is about the most common of rubbers for gaskets and it
kinda cuts, it burns at the edges and leaves a pretty awful finish. I had to go
over and over to get it through. Silicones just don't cut. Latex burns.

Seals Unlimited does customer stuff and sometimes you can buy remnants from
them. You might also be able to get gaskets cut by IRC aluminum. They have
several water jet machines and cut more than just aluminum.
