Partly this is a test. I did it from the alternative disk, after saving my Home stuff out to memory stick. It wasn't easy because of finding the partitioning information. I ended up emptying, and then I think deleting and recreating the sda5 partition, and discovering how to make it the root partition. I wonder if I could do it again. Restored all the stuff from the memory stick, and installed evolution, which is how I got to here. But I have lost all my old emails and address book. Cheers, all. Hope this works. -- Next meeting: Bournemouth, Tuesday 2011-06-07 20:00 Meets, Mailing list, IRC, LinkedIn, ... http://dorset.lug.org.uk/ How to Report Bugs Effectively: http://goo.gl/4Xue
