I'm very sorry to hear this. I've not been to a LUG meet since moving away but I recall many happy meetings with Christopher in earlier times. He was a real character, witty, erudite and charismatic as well as very knowledgeable in many areas, not just software. I recall one evening when he proudly showed me the (very impressive) work he had done on the web site he managed for the string quartet in which played the viola. I always looked forward to meeting him. He will indeed be sadly missed.
