Hi All
Hope this get through as we've been having a lots of emails not being
delivered to address's.
It all started last Sunday when our now provider, 123Reg, had a system
crash. 2 hrs on the 'Chat' line mainly auto-answers got nothing sorted.
Gave up and tried again Monday after finding some out-going mail had not
been delivered.
It goes back to when Tsohost were taken over by 123Reg a 3 or 4 years
ago, all appeared OK until Sunday. When they finally got re-started
(Monday/Tuesday) still emails did not 'go'. This morning they said our
email was not configured correctly; it had worked fine, what had they done?
I thought the email was via the web mail set up on our Domain. They now
say it was set via the cPanel and security changes have caused the
problem; they do not provide an email hosting package and I should sort
it out!!!
I've got a copy of the 'chat' but that does not help much as it's over
my head! Sure there must be an easy way.
Question: How do I get an email provider to provide several (5)
addresses with our @cewland.uk Domain. I'm confused with email/domain
being separate providers.
I pay for the Domain yearly and 123Reg have provided the email through
the cPanel set up by 'Dailey' (were taken over).
Spent all day searching the Web, wonder what people on the DLUG use?
We have Linux Mint 22 and Thunderbird on my laptop and our PC (2
connections I assume)
