It would seem the problem is not just volume but that the volume covers
the entire spectrum of skill level.  .Net is such a new technology that
most people who use this list are interested in all aspects (ADO.Net,
ASP.Net, Winforms).  This would indicate that partitioning along
technologies would be a mistake.  I think the only logical thing to do
is partition along skill levels with possible moderation.  I know we
currently have an advanced dotnet list but very few people use it.  I
think we need a dotnet beginner list.  That list would be for the "how
do I make this control fill the client area of my app" beginner.

This is certainly not a slight because we were all beginners at one
point, but doing this would reduce the volume on this list by 1/2 at
least.
