Technologically, it should be feasible to prevent cross-posting of messages,
although I'm not aware that any major mailing list software does this right
now. It would be a huge benefit to have that happen, IMO.

*raises hand* It seems like there will always be one or more topics that
people aren't interested in (one that immediately comes to mind is VB.net
questions, for me).
