Hello,

Some news about what's going on for this new release… First of all it is still
planned for landing on Wednesday or Thursday (this week of course!). This night
I'll upload new CD builds for Romanian (I modified Dans naughtiness level),
Russian and Spanish. They'll have the latest online documentation and
translations.

Additionally there have been or will be some changes under the hood:

* website has moved today onto new web server where we will be at most 10 web
sites instead of 100 (= more responsive, less pirates, less downtime, etc.)
* web software are up to date (Spip and DotClear, for the blog)
* TransiFex is about to achieve a major upgrade this night, this should ease
DoudouLinux translation even more (see
http://blog.transifex.net/2010/11/one-dot-zero/), I'll tell you more as soon as
I have tested it
* many language files are ready for translation even if the language has no CD
yet (see tarball list on page
http://www.doudoulinux.org/web/english/contribute/translate-doudoulinux/article/translation-files)
* I changed screenshots for the mouse and sound setting tools (affects English,
French and Romanian pages)

So as things are going, tomorrow evening I'll rebuild all CD's that need
rebuilding and I'll start uploading the official 2010-11 release (CD's first)
for the 8 officially supported languages. On Wednesday evening the first CD/USB
should be available and I'll continue uploading the missing ones. The available
languages will be:

* CD+USB → Arabic, English, French, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish,
Ukrainian
* CD only → Dutch, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, Vietnamese

I think they won't be all online before Friday. Tomorrow evening I'll also
prepare the website banner. Please check that your translations are ready for
the banner and the list of languages if you feel concerned (see
website-download and website-squelettes).

Well, that's all folks!

JM.
