Maybe you should try a session with 5 users where each user has different
nicknames for each user. Should be an excellent mess when you do not know the
other persons very well.
Maybe you can also explain me why it is not possible to choose my own colors
for the session users. Consistency ?

It's possible to rename your contacts (at least as long as they are not part of
the session, see [bugs:#842]). However, if they are in a session with you,
their JID is displayed instead of the nickname you gave them.
