I take it that it doesn't help. haven't needed to try it yet. my weekly virus scan is running now and eating all my processor, so when i typed it i couldn't tell if anything was happening. actually now my icons aren't missing, but they often are here on my work PC. when they are missing i will give it a try and let you know the outcome.
