I think the issue is deeper than that and very much a part of the new security features added to XP via Service Pack 2. (As far as I know, SP2 is still in beta.)
I've tried a variety of security settings, including putting the DQSD files into "Trusted Zones". BTW, I couldn't get IE to let me reduce my Internet security below Medium - it gives an error message and resets it to Medium. I'm still playing around with customized settings, but haven't found anything that works.

Steve, Sounds like a problem with your IE security settings. You've probably got those set to "Prompt" instead of "Allow." Go to Tools>Internet Options. Click on the Security Tab and make sure the Internet Zone is set to the default level ( medium). Click Apply>Ok.
If you continue to have problems, and are using a firewall like Zone Alarm Pro, check the Privacy settings to make sure they aren't set too high.
