I downloaded the "comx" and "racetv" searches and they both worked for me.
and my calendar works too. and I do have SP2 installed. so if other people
are having problems with these searches it is probably because activeX is
disabled by default in SP2. But you can enable activeX through the internet
options panel.

These are searches that have been added since the last release. You can
fetch them directly from CVS via -
 
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/dqsd/dqsd/searches/racetv.xml
and
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/dqsd/dqsd/searches/comx.xml
 
right-click on 'download' and do a 'save as' to fetch the file to your
machine..
