You need to get the fuselage shaped and floated out (perhaps even
primed) and the canopy fitted and hinged before you start gassing
the lip. When all is said and done, the canopy to fuselage
mating will be perfect, and there will be a fine 1/16" + - gap
all the way around, spelled sexy. In addition, the wind noise
would be all but non-existent.
