Still a smell will remain. One thing I have done that worked for me is to get some special odor absorbers at the store. I bought one at Meijer's here in Dayton, a grocery store and something like a K-Mart combined, hi hi. The product came in a blue and white "tub". It was about 5" in diameter and about 3-4" high. It smelled terrible. I took the radio, put it into a plastic bag, put the tub on top with a piece of newspaper between it and the radio. Left it there for two weeks, and it came out without any smell.
