Detroit. Meijer stores everywhere in Michigan. Our favourite place to shop.
You say some "special odor absorbers". Any better description
besides the look of the tub?? Was it a general odor absorbing
product if you recall?
Will look for such on my next trip over to "America".....

Well, cleaning the smoker's grunge off the exterior surfaces can be done with
mild cleaners designed SPECIFICALLY FOR PLASTICS AND DELICATE ITEMS, same for
the insides. Still a smell will remain. One thing I have done that worked
for me is to get some special odor absorbers at the store. I bought one at
Meijer's here in Dayton, a grocery store and something like a K-Mart
combined, hi
hi. The product came in a blue and white "tub". It was about 5" in diameter
and about 3-4" high. It smelled terrible. I took the radio, put it into a
plastic bag, put the tub on top with a piece of newspaper between it and the
radio. Left it there for two weeks, and it came out without any smell. Not
sure if it would work for you, best of luck...
