I'll second and third that... the white lanolin hand cleaner is the stuff...particularly for delicate front panels, and hard to clean dried up wrinkle finish

The best I've found for removing nicotine stains (coatings?) is GoJo Hand Cleaner. The WHITE jelly-like version, NOT the orange with pumice. For covers, etc., just put it on and rub in with your fingers, then rinse off. Where you don't want water, just wipe off with soft rags, Q-Tips, whatever to get into the tight places.

Interiors often respond to storage with clothes dryer softener sheet(s) and wrapped in plastic or in a plastic bag for a few days.

The previous owner was a smoker and the radios all smell of such.
Some were longer in his possession than others which means the layer of nicotine is thicker than the new items. These are the first nicotine-soaked-rice-boxes (or anything for that matter) that I have ever had in my possession.

The question is.....any idea on how to clean this stuff? The smell of smoke is quite noticeable. A quick cleaning with a j-cloth and water cleaned off a layer of dust and some of the easier to clean yellowing.
