"Ron Baker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- A year ago or so I saw one of the stripped TR7 Chassis on eBay, not sure who was selling it, there are 2 or 3 doing that now. Anyway it was a reasonably high serial number, so I bought it, the front panel assembly (sold separately), and several of the boards (again sold separately). I put it all back together and scrounged a couple of missing boards and got it working. With little effort beyond reassembly the radio worked and still works fine. So I know for sure there is at least one TR7 that came back from the dead and is enjoying a 2nd chance at life.

Some people will stoop so low as to pimp working radios just for a buck. Sad, but there's always folks who take a mercenary approach. The best bet is to not buy from the guy, and hope he stews in a sea of chopped up radios.
