As the guys at work would say, "the buggy eyed guy with the Caterpillar under his nose" is for real. :-)

The TR7 came from a good home, and was not the issue. The mic was the issue. I tried so many I can not remember. Good thing for classifieds on the net or I would have quite a collection. The home made mic on the boom arm is really my full time mic for my TR7. Best thing I ever did for my voice radio hobby.
