Now that I can get on all bands with my TR4Cw, my tuner went on the blink. It
is an MFJ 941D (which is a cheapie, but has worked good for me). I had no
meter movement and I changed out the two germanium diodes (1N34A) and got my
meter working on forward power but not reflected power. There is a variable
resistor located between the two diodes labeled 500K RL that is shot. I don't
know the power rating of that component or where to find it, but I think that
would fix my reflected power problem. Any help would be appreciated. I know
this is off topic, but I need it to use my Drake!
