OK, this is slightly confusing for me. I have a dual 1800+ athlon and
an 7500. I'm running the CVS version (tcl-0-0-branch) of DRI and I only
see 574fps from glxgears. (Every other application I've tried
(Cyrstalspace's walktest, tuxracer) just hangs X and I have to reboot
it from another machine, as a lot of other people have reported). This
is at 32bpp. Doing gl-info shows

GL_VENDOR = "Tungsten Graphics, Inc."
GL_RENDERER = "Mesa DRI Radeon 20020309 AGP 4x x86/MMX/3DNow! TCL"
GL_VERSION = "1.2 Mesa 4.0.1"

glxinfo shows

name of display: :0.0
display: :0  screen: 0
direct rendering: Yes
server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.2

And this is reported by the kernel

[drm] AGP 0.99 on AMD Irongate @ 0xf8000000 64MB
[drm] Initialized radeon 1.3.0 20020408 on minor 0

Any comments/hints?

Thanks,

Matt
