Odd. This is now happening, as well, with the drm from the 2.6.11 kernel.
The card works fine with the drivers from XiG, however, so it doesn't appear
to be a hardware problem.

wierd.. can you boot without X, and modprobe drm debug=1 then modprobe radeon then start X? and send me on the dmesg...

I'm going to be travelling the next while but I'll try and get to it..
also maybe try the fix that Egbert posted for setversion..

btw XiG may not use interrupts...

Dave.

Alright... I launch neverputt, and the kernel writes the following to my serial console:

[drm:radeon_cp_reset] *ERROR* radeon_cp_reset called without lock held, held 0 owner dc1fae80 dcfc3180
[drm:radeon_cp_start] *ERROR* radeon_cp_start called without lock held, held 0 owner dc1fae80 dcfc3180

dmesg goes wild:

http://68.44.156.246/dmesg.txt.gz

Unfortunately, the start of the debug info is cut off since dmesg is getting so much data.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Adam
