Mark, you hit the nail in the head!** If all external contributions to core Drizzle are BSD, then the Drizzle license has the same meaning as the MySQL one. On the other hand, if you allow copyrighted GPL contributions to Drizzle, then neither Sun, nor anybody else will be able to sell non-GPL Drizzle licenses, unless all the GPL contributors make a deal...
