The "quick fix" version of the script works on the Linux box here as well.
After downloading with the "wget" command, the permissions needed to be changed
to make the script executable, and the dos2unix command was used to fix the
line endings:
-bash: ./start-handle-server-QUICK-FIX: /bin/sh^M: bad interpreter: No such
file or directory
dos2unix ./start-handle-server-QUICK-FIX
dos2unix: converting file ./start-handle-server-QUICK-FIX to UNIX format ...
After this, the "quick fix" script started the handle server correctly.
