Unfortunately, I am just a repository administrator and do not have access to
tomcat. As I mentioned, when I did request my IT department to stop tomcat,
run index-init, and restart Tomcat, the bad links in the author browse page
were removed. My IT department is very busy right now so I prefer to not
re-create the problem.
Are you saying that index-update will only work if the Cocoon cache is empty?
