Ivan Masár commented on DS-1330:
--------------------------------
Bram, I have originally considered the possibility, but I decided against it
because it would change the way DSpace currently looks like. Imagine a
completely open access repository, which would be just full of the "unlocked"
icons.
But I'm definitely open to any suggestions you might have. It would be best to
bring this up in your DCAT meeting and get multiple opinions. It's not a major
change, so it might still make it into 3.0.

> Project: DSpace
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: XMLUI
> Affects Versions: 3.0
> Environment: demo.dspace.org
> Reporter: Bram Luyten (@mire)
> Assignee: Ivan Masár

> I currently noticed what seems to be inconsistent behaviour on
> demo.dspace.org.
> When logged in as an administrator, I don't see the "blue lock" symbol on
> item pages.
> However, it DOES appear when starting the creation of a new version. The
> screenshot "start of a new version" appears just after giving the reason for
> creation of a new version.
