Glad to hear you got it going in the end.

If you have a spare 20 minutes, it would be great if you could document your 
install process and post it on a new page linked from the community DSpace wiki 
at:

 - https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/Installation

That way, anyone else who needs to install the same DSpace version / Ubuntu 
version would be able to do so easily.  If you'd prefer, post the steps in an 
email, and we'll get it posted up there instead.
